Telemetry

App telemetry is off by default and is sent only when you enable usage sharing. In this version the Settings switch for usage sharing is unavailable and sharing is off, so the app sends no usage telemetry unless that setting is changed outside the app.

Fields

The accepted app telemetry schema contains these fields:

appVersion: the app version. osVersion: the operating-system version. telemetryId: a random UUID used as a telemetry identifier. managedSessions: the managed-session count.

features: boolean flags for app areas such as sessions, approvals, ledger, memory and remote. errors: a list of permitted codes connection_lost, daemon_unavailable, protocol_mismatch, session_exit, invalid_ledger and update_failed.

The current app payload sets the sessions feature flag and an empty errors list. The schema excludes prompts, file content, transcripts, ledger content, licence keys and account credentials. Enabled telemetry attempts are limited to at most one per day by the app.

Service providers

Paddle handles payments as merchant of record. Cloudflare hosts the licence service. Resend sends your licence email from ramulus@mail.altimany.com.

Licence data

The licence service stores Paddle customer, subscription and transaction IDs and licence/subscription status, a hashed licence key, hashed installation identifiers, and activation, last-seen and revocation timestamps. It also keeps webhook event identifiers and delivery status to handle repeated notifications.

The buyer email is obtained from Paddle to send the key through Resend. It is used transiently for delivery rather than stored in the licence database. In the Worker, a hashed form of the IP address is used only for rate-limit keys, not stored as a licence field.

Licence activation, refresh and deactivation are separate from optional usage sharing. See data handling and the privacy policy. For questions, email kit@altimany.com.
